CBBC's New Website

The CBBC is launching a new website today for British kids who want to anonymously discuss troublesome issues in their lives. It's apparently not available in the U.S., but you can read all about it here, here, and here.

It's a Flash-based site that creates animated characters to represent child users. The resulting combination of documentary audio (recorded by the children) and animated visual is strongly reminiscent of Aardman's Creature Comforts, and it represents another great step in animated documentary (which to my knowledge seems to be a mostly British phenomenon).
