Milkshake in New York

I've been following Milkshake somewhat closely on this blog since they released Great Day and I got in touch with the band a few months ago. Now I've just learned that for the first time since they released that album--that got nominated for a Grammy, by the way--they'll be playing in New York. They'll be at the Fillmore at Irving Plaza (just east of Union Square) on April 17. The show's at 10 a.m., which is one great advantage of preschool bands over the traditional variety (and they rock just as hard). Tickets ($20) are at Live Nation and more information's available at www.houseofkidsnyc.com. In fact, the whole House of Kids initiative, which you can read about there, is pretty cool.
